Acceptable use policy

Last updated October 2026.

The short version

Publish your own pages for legitimate purposes. Do not use HTMLtoURL.dev to deceive, harm or exploit anyone.

Not allowed

  • Phishing: pages imitating a bank, wallet, brand, government or login screen to collect credentials, payment details or recovery phrases.
  • Malware, exploit kits, cryptominers, or links to harmful downloads; executable and installer files.
  • Scams, fraud, fake giveaways and impersonation of people or organisations.
  • Child sexual abuse material — reported to the relevant authorities.
  • Content that infringes copyright or trademarks, or publishes other people's personal data without consent.
  • Harassment, threats, or incitement to violence.
  • Spam, link farms and pages made to manipulate search engines.
  • Using the service as a CDN for files hotlinked from elsewhere, or attempting to overload it.

How we enforce it

Uploads are checked automatically for credential-phishing patterns and blocked file types; addresses that imitate well-known brands or login pages are refused. Reported pages are reviewed and removed when they break these rules, and the address is blocked from re-use. Repeated or serious abuse may be reported to hosting providers and law enforcement.
